Dovid can crawl!!! He was crawling all over the floor today (on a rug I bought). He saw a toy that he wanted and crawled right over to it. Then I called Shmuel in so he could watch. I took the toy and placed it farther away from him, and again he crawled to it! Very exciting!! :-) He also pulled himself up into a standing position (with knees bent) for about 3 seconds. We have a folding chair in the living room, and I saw him trying to pull up on it so I went over and sat there so the chair wouldn't move away from him. He had easily gotten to his knees (something he's been perfecting for several days now) and was working on getting to his feet. He only got all the way onto his feet once, but I'm sure he'll get better at that soon. Yikes! He's mobile!
Chana did a wonderful job sitting today. I had sat her down on the rug so I could do a bit of cleaning up after Shabbos, and she just sat there (without falling over) for several minutes. (She actually didn't fall over at all...I had to pick her up to put her somewhere else, which is how her "sitting practice" ended.) Yay twinners!!
Go twins! It's so exciting to see them hitting that milestone the first few times! I will warn you with the cruising though- if Dovid is anything like my little monkey it leads to a lot of worry, haha! Once he masters cruising & moves on to climbing... and then the crawling gets really really fast- yikes!
