Finally!!

I was *finally* able to find the baby's heartbeat on my doppler just now. I've been trying on and off for weeks, but I didn't really think I'd hear it until after 10 weeks. Since 10 weeks I've been trying nearly every day with no luck. Boy, was the heartbeat difficult to find!!! In order to find it I had to be standing up (so my uterus was farther forward) and it still took me several minutes of searching. Once I found it, I got to listen to it for about 20 seconds before it disappeared again and I couldn't relocate it. (I didn't try for very long since I had just heard it, but still.) Yay!!! I finally go to hear it, and it's gorgeous. :-)

  1. That is SO awesome!!! Isn't it the greatest sound in the world?

I didn't have a doppler of my own but we have one at work and I borrowed it and went into the staff bathroom when I was obsessed and worried at 10-12 weeks. ♥ Gosh, I love listening to the HB!

  2. Oh you just made me think back to that beautiful sound. I am so happy you got to find your little ones heartbeat. Just beautiful. It makes me sad to know I am done having kids now. Enjoy it, it is the best time being pregnant.

  4. Yay! I have yet to hear the Halfling's heartbeat. Even my GP couldn't find it. Thankfully, I've seen it often enough now that I'm not too concerned about hearing it. I'm going to have to try that standing up thing while using my doppler.

    Sending prayers and hugs!
