I'm really starting to feel the baby move now. She's been moving around and kicking a bit. On Sunday we actually were able to feel her kick from the outside. Usually that comes much later, but I guess my hands were in the right place at the right time. It was funny because when Shmuel came into the room I told him to put his hands on my belly. He felt for a few seconds and then started giggling. I asked him if he could feel her kick and he said yes and that it was weird. Well it was even more weird since I couldn't feel it from the inside. lol But her movements are getting stronger and more frequent (at least in the fact that I'm feeling them). So cool and so exciting!
Dovid's getting more teeth. I can see a molar coming in up top!! Finally! I was really afraid he had no teeth. lol
Ziva, our au pair, left to go home earlier this week. *sob* We really miss her, and the twins will be starting at "day care" next week. (It's not really day care because it's just four kids - two of which are mine - being taken care of by one adult who happens to be a friend of mine, but it's easier for me to refer to it as "day care".) The twins have met her and at least one of the kids who will be with them, so I'm hoping the transition will go smoothly for everyone. I'll probably sit in for a few hours on the first few days to help in any case.
My amazing bloggy friend Eileen had her twins yesterday!!! She made it to 34 weeks, which was fantastic considering the numerous complications plaguing her pregnancy. This is truly a miracle and we are so, so happy for her! Happy birthday Matthew and Madeline!
This blog contains Elana's musings about her struggle with infertility and her four miracle kiddos. Thanks for listening!

Baby Kicks
Last night the hubby finally felt one of the babies kick! (We think it was Baby A...) I was reclining on the bed watching "The Biggest Loser" and Shmuel was doing a live CE course online so he can renew his pharmacy license. I could feel her doing laps around my uterus, so I grabbed his hand and put it on my belly. She kicked him right away and he looked at me all surprised as if I was keeping an alien in there. lol She kicked a few more times before I let his hand go back to taking notes. :-)
I have my next cervix check & prenatal appointment tomorrow (back to back) and hopefully everything will look great. I'm going to ask them if I can have a copy of the picture from last week when my cervix was hanging open just so I can show all of you bloggy readers what a cervix is not supposed to look like at 20 weeks. :-) (And hopefully I'll get a copy of what it looks like now to show the difference) Wish me luck!

Bed Rest
I had some questions about why I was talking about bed rest. Firstly, I am not currently on bed rest (although I wish I was confined to the house so I didn't have to go to work...) :-) Secondly, my OB as well as every Perinatologist I've seen have all told me that I will be going on bed rest at some point...most likely around 6 months. There are a few reasons why--#1) Because it's twins (duh) #2) Because it's an IVF pregnancy and therefore even higher risk than twins that occur naturally #3) Because I'm a small person and we don't know how my cervix is going to react to the double pressure of twin babies once we get further along. Rather than risk my cervix opening prematurely, they want me to be on bed rest in order to try to avoid it.
In other news, I'd go into the horrific day I had at work today, but I'd rather not talk about it...it just pisses me off. I am, however, very happy about Barack Obama being elected president, so that makes it a little better. :-)
I do believe I'm starting to feel little kicks as well as movements. This morning I woke up with my hubby's alarm for a bathroom break and felt a kick while I was on my way to the bathroom. I actually said "oof" out loud. lol I can't wait to feel more of them!!
